What we’re planning on.
We will be canceling in-person worship services until further notice.
On Facebook and YouTube, we will be having our service live streamed at 9:30am. Please join us online, interact with the message and one another through the comment section.
Though we aren’t gathering together, we are not disconnected. Take the normal time you typically spend at church on Sunday to connect, worship, pray, and talk with those around you about God’s Word and the Gospel truth.
What we’re not doing:
- Gathering together
What we can’t stop doing:
Sickness cannot stop our worship.
Thanks be to God that we live in an age where geography and virus cannot stop us from spreading the Word of God and the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus.
Though we won’t be together physically, let this page be your guide to worship in your own house.
Take this opportunity to have spiritual conversations with your family.
We plan to go live on Facebook and YouTube at 9:30 for the sermon portion of the service. However, we would love for families to wake up, make some breakfast, gather together in your pajamas and work through this page together after we go live.
As a family, let’s enter into a time of prayer together. Pray for our specific community, the greater community, and the world. As Pastor Mark said, the Lord’s Prayer is not something that is to be prayed stoicly and without meaning, but as a template to build your prayers on. This doesn’t have to be long and wordy, but take some time to share with your family how you want God to work in you and in the world.
So in this time, let the Lord’s Prayer be your guide.
- Praise God for who He is
- Ask God to use you and your family to further His kingdom
- Ask God for peace in the midst of uncertainty and chaos
- Thank God for supplying for your needs and ask how He can use you to do the same for others
- Thank God for his forgiveness and love and grace
- Ask God to give you strength to persist against temptations and anxieties.
- Praise God for deliverance from sin and death.
- Close by reciting the Lord’s Prayer as a family
This is your chance to turn up your favorite worship songs and sing them together as a family. You can use the below playlists for reference or choose your own songs to praise to. The important part is doing it.
While you’re listening feel free to ask questions on the comments, interact with the content and with all those viewing it together. We won’t say we’ll answer the questions, but we will go through the comments after the message and reply/answer/comment back to you.
Still want to give?
If you still want to give while we’re apart you can do so through our online giving. You can click the green icon on the bottom-right corner of the webpage and it will lead you through the process.
As you do so, take time to pray for the offering that you are giving. Pray it can be used to reach the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and further His kingdom.
