Sunday School
Clubhouse 2:52:
(Pre-K to 5th Grade):
During our 11:00 AM service, kids start in a large group setting in our Clubhouse and then go to their classrooms for age specific lessons.
First Look and Clubhouse 2:52 are part of the Orange Ministry. Orange is the concept that Red (the heart of a child’s parents) combines with purple (the heart of the church) to make Orange. Orange Ministry lays out a plan for Hager Park and parents to work together to teach our kids about God through singing, dancing, live acting performances, and lessons that carry through the week at home.

Youth Group
Youth Group meets in the Lodge on Sunday nights from 5pm-6:45pm. During this time, you can expect a game to connect us as a community, a time of worship to form us, a lesson to grow us, and small groups so we can reflect. We model our ministry Thessalonians 2:8, which says: ‘Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.’ The hope of our community is to share who God is with one another as well as share who we are with each other.
Both the Middle and High School Youth Groups share a meal together from 6:15-6:45
Middle School Youth Group:
For 6th through 8th graders: Meets in the Lodge on Sunday evenings from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM.
High School Youth Group:
For 9th through 12th graders: Meets in the Lodge on Sunday evenings from 6:15 to 8:15 PM.

Cadets
Cadets:
Boys in 3rd through 8th Grade are introduced to Jesus not only through Bible lessons and small group discussions, but through earning merit badges, camping trips, pinewood derby races, and other special events. Cadets learn from the example of Christian men in word and deed, helping these young men to grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. We meet every Monday from 6:30 through 8:30 pm in “The Lodge” behind our main church building.

Reach Ministries
Welcome and Security Team
Our Welcome and Security teams work together to make sure guests and members alike feel a sense of hospitality and belonging while providing a safe and secure environment for themselves and their children.
The Welcome Team connects with those arriving at our two main entrances. Team members also staff our Welcome Center.
The Security Team monitors the Worship Center and property and they secure all entrances before and after each service.

Fresh Expressions of Church
“A fresh expression is a form of church for our changing culture established primarily for the benefit of people who are not yet members of any church.”
A fresh expression of church is not something temporary like a mission trip or an annual sporting event that simply gathers people together. It is not a tweak of the present form of church, like a new worship service. It’s not an arm of a present church, like a food pantry. It’s not a new name for a revamped, long-standing ministry. And it’s not merely a step toward a church. It’s more than all these things. It is church!
We currently have one Fresh Expression of Church meeting nights from 5-6:30PM. It is affectionately called “Police Church” and our members are first responders from our area police and fire departments with their spouses or significant others.

Missions – International/Local
We partner with and financially support over 30 international and local missionaries and mission organizations. From our 10-year partnership with Paradise Bound Ministries in the Village of LaReyna, Guatemala to Family Promise homeless families ministries in Grand Rapids and Love Your Neighbor ministries right here in Hudsonville.
We invite one of these ministries to join us monthly during our morning service to share what’s happening in their ministry and how we as a congregation can get involved.
We also plan and schedule regular mission trip opportunities for our Youth and Adults to serve for a day or throughout the year.
Contact: Bruce Harder for more information.
Promotion/Social Media Team
This team works closely with our pastor to promote events and sermon series that are upcoming. We use roadside banners, social media advertising and posts as well as print media for direct mail and flyers. If you have any digital media skills, graphic design or advertising experience we would love to have you join our team.
Contact: Pastor Mark for more information.
Disability Advocacy
We have all been impacted by disability in some way, shape, or form.
Whether personally, through a loved one, a friend, or someone who has inspired us, we all have a connection. And through that connection, we all understand the hardships those with disabilities face in finding a place to worship and learn about God.
Hager Park’s Disability Advocate Program has been created to offer ways for those with mental and physical disabilities to experience the love of Christ.
