Join us at Hager Park Church for our summer Sermon Series, “Apocalypse Now!”

“Apocalypse Now”… the 1979 film starring Marlon Brando and Robert Duvall illustrated the horrors of the Vietnam War. In many ways that film and its title have shaped our cultural conception of the Apocalypse. Interestingly, the word Apocalypse is the Greek word translated simply “Revelation” or “to reveal”. Correspondingly, the book of Revelation is about far more than the Tribulation and the Battle of Armageddon. The apostle John recorded the Apocalypse of Jesus Christ and sent it to the Church intending it to be read aloud in Worship as an encouragement and to strengthen them as they suffered under persecution from the Roman Empire and culture.

Join us as we unravel the mysteries of the Book of Revelation and take comfort in the truth that Jesus defeated Satin in the 1st Century, Jesus is alive and is defeating Satin today and Jesus is seated on the throne of heaven ready to put an end to Satin once and for all when He comes again.
